Meet Our Founders

Pinku Rita Biswas
Founder & Deputy Executive Director
She is the co-founder of RRF and currently serving as the Deputy Executive Director of the organization. She holds a Graduate Degree in Social Work in Education, and an Advanced Degree in Women’s Leadership from Coady International Institute St. Francis Xavier University Nova Scotia, CANADA. She started her career as a trainer in a Dutch NGO called UTO in 1980 and worked till 1982. Later Mennonite Central Committee MCC Dhaka in 1982-83 and HEED Bangladesh in 1983-84 worked in various development projects. She has been working continuously on women empowerment in particular since start working. She founded RRF NGO in 1982 while still working. She was a board member of the French-based organization Makes Mothers Matters. At Present RRF is working with 33 districts 173 upazila and 562015 Beneficiaries’. www.rrf-bd.org .
Rural Women Handicrafts has founded by Pinku Rita Biswas as her new dream especially dedicated for the rural women’s for their economic development through investing women’s specialized knowledge and hard work. As a woman she dreams every women of Bangladesh should have their own identity, it’s a dream to empower them and to nourish them to ensure a successful future.

Myanila Biwsas
Director, Admin & HR
She is the Director of Admin and HR at Rural Reconstruction Foundation. She studied for a post graduate degree in English Literature. Besides, she obtained an advanced Degree in Development Leadership from Coady International Institute St. Francis Xavier University Nova Scotia, Canada. She started her career in 2015 as Program Coordinator at Rural Reconstruction Foundation. Later, she got promoted in 2017 and is working as the Director of the Administration and Human Resource Department.
Myanila Biswas is a young and self depended woman. To grow Bangladesh’s women society self depended and to create women safe working environment she is dedicated. Rural Women Handicrafts is also the dream of Myanila Biswas to bring front to the girls and engage them to work beside their home task to achieve self sustainability.
